
DESIGNING A FRAGRANCE
The visual identity
At the crossroads of the senses, the world of Les Citadines is a skillful balance between design and fragrance, colors and illustrations.
For us, vessels and their packaging are true territories of expression. They are not merely simple containers. As genuine decorative objects that also evoke emotions, they represent the very essence of the collection to which they belong.
Sometimes inspired by a fragrance to create an image, a color, sometimes the other way around, we always keep liberated creativity as our motto.

Illustrated poetry
The packaging for our Urban Garden collection is the result of a unique creative process with the talented multi-disciplinary New Zealand artist Amy McLennan, who created superb handmade botanical illustrations for us - one for each fragrance - all in leaves, flowers and freshness, reflecting the perfumes that make up this collection.
The crest
The Citadines crest, adorning the candles and diffusers of our Sepia collection with a golden glow, is the very foundation upon which the collection was built. Its creation allowed us to forge this project, which has been embodied by this emblem. Its classic look, standing out against the amber background of the glass, inspired us to create warm, comforting, and timeless fragrances.

Liberated color
A recurring theme in our creations since the beginning, color is an endless source of inspiration for us. Whether through the iridescent prism of the glass in our Holographic collection, or our Chromatica collection. The latter celebrates it by combining blocks of vibrant, contrasting colors to create a striking visual effect. This interplay of contrasts and harmonies, inspired by modern art, brings energy and dynamism to your interior.

The name
"Les Citadines"

The name "Les Citadines", pronounced [lé'sita'din] - meaning city dwellers -, reflects our Montreal origins, as it is closely linked to the creation of our first collection in 2015, which paid homage to Montreal through candles with fragrances inspired by the city and its neighborhoods.
More than a decade later, this name, embodied in a signature adorning the top of each of our packagings, is internationally recognized as a guarantee of quality and expertise.
